IRS limits in the plan
The plan applies yearly IRS limits by calendar year:
- 401(k): $24,500 in 2026, plus catch-ups from 50 (and a larger one at 60 to 63). Deferrals stop for the rest of the year at the limit.
- IRA (traditional and Roth combined): $7,500, plus $1,100 from 50. Extra goes to Brokerage.
- HSA: $4,400 self-only or $8,750 family, plus $1,000 from 55. Extra goes to Brokerage.
Enter what you've already contributed this calendar year so this year's limit isn't overstated. Limits after the last announced year are projected with inflation.
